Recently, Yogyakarta, the province on the Indonesian island of Java, was struck by an earthquake which measured 6.2 on the Richter scale. The earthquake devastated the densely populated region around Yogyakarta with a population of about 500,000. At least 5,700 people have been killed, 20,000 people have been injured, some are still trapped beneath the rubble and 200,000 are homeless.

You can help those affected by making a financial donation to the Indonesian Student Association.
